In 2021, with a heart full of doubts but a mind buzzing with creativity, Shanmathy and Niranjana found themselves experimenting with their mom's sarees on a terrace in Chennai. The goal? To make sarees easier, comfier, and ready-to-wear. After countless trials, a few mishaps, and a lot of laughter, Say Yes was born — a brand rooted in tradition, yet stitched with freedom.

From selling sarees with near-zero margins bought from local stores to launching our own website in 2022, every step has been driven by passion and the belief that sarees can be empowering - not exhausting.

Today, Say Yes is more than just a brand. It's a movement — for women who want to feel beautiful in six yards without the fuss. We've grown into a tight-knit team, launched new sub-brands, and now we're taking our love for sarees international with pop-ups across borders.

Through every blouse stitched, every pocket added, and every parcel packed with love — we're just two girls (and a growing fam!) who dared to say yes to a dream.
